I was born in Greensboro, NC and attended Northwest Guilford High School where I took my first photography class. I’ve always loved taking pictures but the photography class taught me ways to enhance my photos. I am currently enrolled at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.
I love taking photos of all kinds,but all are black and white,and seem to focus mainly on portraits of children. However, I love catching the candid expressions of children. The laughter of a two year old with her face covered in chocolate or the amazement of a young boy watching birds hatch in a nest are once in a lifetime memories that are treasured forever.
I enjoy experimenting with different lighting and unusual views. A single flower caught in a glass jug, water swirling in a circle as it goes down the drain, simple things in life that we sometimes take for granted are some of my favorite photos.
I hope to continue my education in photography gaining more knowledge and experience to continue “making memories last forever…”.
